Order of the PugsEst. 1740 · Mops-Orden

Secret society.
Serious pugs.

In 1740, Catholics barred from the Freemasons founded a lodge of their own and put a pug on the door — for loyalty, trust, and steadfastness. Members wore collars with bells. We put their pugs on shirts.

The Zoomie Collection

Same paintings — no frame, no caption plate, nothing between you and the dog. The Zoomies print the close-up itself, big: each pug exactly as the painter's eye lingered on it.

The dog is real history

Pugs sat for Goya and Hogarth, rode on porcelain ladies' laps, and presided over a banned lodge. Every design here is a real artwork, credited on the shirt.

Printed to order

No warehouse, no pile of stock. Your shirt is printed when you order it, on a heavyweight tee that feels like a vintage find.

The Order's motto

Loyalty. Trust. Steadfastness. The three virtues the pug stood for in 1740 — and still the only membership requirements.

Scratch at the door

Initiates of the original Order scratched at the lodge door to be let in. Ours is easier: leave your email and you'll be first inside when the shop opens — plus one dispatch a month on the pugs of art history. No barking required.
